I have a couple cars that have a more expensive mount & magnet setup.

At first we loved the dashboard mount

This mount is very secure where ever you mount it

I liked that these phone mounts were small and didn’t take much space in my car however, when I received my order, it came with several alcohol cleaning strips as well as adhesive mounting strips

3M adhesive that does not require a shiny surface and strong magnet make this the best mount ever

I don't like the windshield mount because it obstructs my vision and wanted it on my dashboard.

I liked using the mount but the plastic threads that the nut screw on to broke after 8 months use

One mount refused to stick to any surface in the car, and the other, while properly adhered, seems to loosen itself rather quickly when a phone is placed onto the magnet (instead of remaining stable, the phone ends up flopping around mid drive)

yes it moves a bit, but overall a very nice mount that fits into very small places on the dash/console.

The mount itself adheres great and feels secure on the dash.

These mounts are great

We wiped the dash before trying to stick the mount but as soon as we put the phone on the mount, the entire thing fell off (mount with the phone)

I also cannot stand vent or dash mounts because of the angle and how far away they are

2nd mount is useless as far as I'm concerned since I cannot get the adhesive tape free to stick

I have used mounts like this before with no problems but both of these fell off after ten minutes

All three mounts had the same problem, the circlular ring that holds the magnetic mount to the dashboard mount broke

As one who formerly used a vent-mounted phone holder, this one is so much nicer.

I love these magnetic car mounts they are awesome, I just wished the plastic behind the magnetic part where you screw in wasn’t so cheaply made

If you do not change your phone from horizontal to vertical, this mount will be perfect.

Other than having a problem with the sticky mount, I'd give this product a 4-1/2 stars.

The mount will fall off every so often.

Vent mounts may be easier to accommodate.

For the price I was hoping the PSA, which is 3M double sided sticky tape, would have been strong enough to support the weight of my phone

But never fear, 3M makes a product made just for this situation
