It would have been a great holder for my phone while on vehicle, but I definitely would not recommend this because it damaged my iphone and my brother's iphone (since i just gave this thing to him when it damaged my phone 3 months ago)

It's not an iron grip and the phone does fall occasionally, but that is generally because I don't have the phone well centered on the metal plate that I put inside the case.
