Honesty this mount is the best I’ve had

The mount itself is good, but the plates don’t work well for me without some modification.

All in all, after years of frustration, seems like I have found the perfect mount.

Do not worry about using the cd slot this mount grabs very secure and doesn't do anything to the cd player itself, you can even have a cd in and play it if you choose to.

I have used vent magnetic mounts before

I was a little skeptical when I first found this product, but I have to say that this is the best mount that I have had for my phone.

I was frustrated using the vent phone mounts because the phone would weigh the vent down, and I could never feel the air conditioning.

My car did not have suitable vents for a vent mount and had a texture on the dash that wouldn’t accommodate a ‘sticky’ mount

Got this on sale, on a whim, and it is BY FAR the best car mount for my phone I’ve ever tried

The only problem I've had, is this small rectangular rubber piece on the part that goes into the CD slot tends to slide over time, regardless of the adhesive, causing the mount to come loose

This mount worked as designed and the only negative was that it allowed the phone to vibrate and bounce while in use.

Highly recommend this mount for anyone who uses their phone for navigating or listening to music.

But then the magnetized mount separated from the screw part and it would not tighten, so essentially the phone would not stay in the right position because the mount is loose

If mounted with the wing nut on the top side the insert that goes into the CD tray warped the face of the deck and caused my volume knob to jam

This mount is very secure, make sure you don’t tighten it TOO hard or you’ll blow out the top of your CD player

Had another product with a top adjustment mount that did not work due to this vehicle's design.

It sits at a great spot too and the mount is somewhat adjustable

That didn't last long, and it blocked my vent which was really annoying, especially on hot days when it blocked the AC.I decided that I wanted to try a magnetic mount since it's annoying to mess with clips and clamps, so I got one that sticks to the dash with adhesive

But if you have a screen radio and use a back up camera this is not the right mount

The suction cups on the glass wear out in months, and the vent is just not a good mounting point; flimsy and not secure
