Reviews around control (5.00 of 5)

  • You can run a PC, a TV/monitor output (e.g. for listening to Xbox or Netflix), a phone or mp3 player, and maybe a tablet, and still have one port free - how about a laptop?- Independent volume controls/gains as well as a master control.- Low profile; can be velcroed to the wall, a desk, or other piece of furniture for mounting or improved stability (it has a tendency to slide on smooth
  • The build quality is sturdy for a sub-$100 mixer and the controls are straightforward and for my basic use, very adequate
  • The unit sounds great and to my ears, there is no distortion while plugged into the headphone out of my computer and my iPhone 6 - there is good volume control between the two

Reviews around price (5.00 of 5)

  • While I don't think that $70 is the fairest asking price for this device, I completely understand it, and I support the rare and extremely useful products these guys are making
  • This device does EXACTLY THAT at a very reasonable price, with great customer service (I had a pre-sales question), and excellent build quality

Reviews around thing (5.00 of 5)

  • :)If you're a power user type of nerd like me that likes aesthetically pleasing devices, tinkering with gadgets, overkill and you don't want to lose your audio quality just because you have a lot of things making sounds at the same time, I'd recommend this thing highly.
  • This thing is a lifesaver
  • This thing is so cool and has no flaws whatsoever.

Reviews around indicator (5.00 of 5)

  • LED indicators are not mind-searingly bright which is good but at night, they could be annoying since they are blue instead of red.
  • I've never been let down by this mixer as long as I respect the overload indicator.
  • The overload light is an accurate indicator of when you're pushing things into distortion territory.

Reviews around volume (5.00 of 5)

  • The one negative item is that at any appreciable volume, the unit will peak out and begin clipping the audio.
  • Individual volume for headphone and speaker out is also nice
  • The unit sounds great and to my ears, there is no distortion while plugged into the headphone out of my computer and my iPhone 6 - there is good volume control between the two

Reviews around design (5.00 of 5)

  • But this is a well-designed and built mixer
  • I thought the whole unit was very well designed and put together
  • Many people had described it as cheaply made but I find it to be well designed and constructed.

Reviews around work (5.00 of 5)

  • For what I purchased it for it is working perfect at this time, connecting a computer, television and Echo Dot all to the single input on my radio.
  • Like someone else said, all the sliders and controls work smoothly
  • The boost dials work well for low volume output devices and there are distortion indicator lights on it as well

Reviews around knob (5.00 of 5)

  • Each channel has a volume slider and a "gain" knob, as well as a balance knob
  • All the knobs and sliders feel solid as well and came with hardly any play

Reviews around good (5.00 of 5)

  • Solid build as well.
  • Love having five 1/8 inch stereo inputs as well

Reviews around feature (5.00 of 5)

  • The cutout for the power button is too wide.- When powering on, it causes your speakers to pop - this device does not have a 'soft start' or other feature to prevent popping
  • One nice feature that I didn't expect but have come to really like is the headphone port has a dedicated volume knob separate from the main volume slider

Reviews around quality (4.16 of 5)

  • The build quality is sturdy for a sub-$100 mixer and the controls are straightforward and for my basic use, very adequate
  • :)If you're a power user type of nerd like me that likes aesthetically pleasing devices, tinkering with gadgets, overkill and you don't want to lose your audio quality just because you have a lot of things making sounds at the same time, I'd recommend this thing highly.
  • All pots are of good quality and are not loose or jiggly but easy to move and do not stick.
  • Overall, the initial quality for is very good and even better when you consider the price
  • This device does EXACTLY THAT at a very reasonable price, with great customer service (I had a pre-sales question), and excellent build quality

Reviews around use (3.95 of 5)

  • The build quality is sturdy for a sub-$100 mixer and the controls are straightforward and for my basic use, very adequate
  • This mixer is compact and functional, uses TRS stereo plugs throughout, and has separate volume control on all inputs and outputs (adjusting headphone loudness doesn't affect the mix, or the output, or the recorder output.)I haven't tried just plugging a mic into one of the 'line' inputs, but the GAIN stage looks like it could handle that fine.
  • After using this mixer for a few months it mostly works great
  • Almost all electric guitar pedals use negative for the center and positive for the sleeve
  • touchy and fussy and overloads easily, but it works well when used within its somewhat limited parameters.

Reviews around unit (3.11 of 5)

  • I looked at appear to be more appropriate for a studio type use, but this unit is very appropriate for my desktop
  • The unit sounds great and to my ears, there is no distortion while plugged into the headphone out of my computer and my iPhone 6 - there is good volume control between the two
  • I did not notice any sound degradation when using this unit, or any annoying hissing
  • Confirmed that I didn't get a defective unit, so this is a design oversight - while the powered speakers/monitors downstream can be off before turning on the unit, a plugged-in headphone cannot be switched off beforehand
  • I can live with it for now, but I may end up replacing it with a more expensive unit when I can afford it.
