Love the microphone - easy to set up and great sound quality for what I use it for

The MPM-1000 is a great condenser microphone for $50 but you do get what you pay for

For the price it is a very good cardioid microphone

I think I prefer the ATR-2100, but this is a perfectly capable microphone

If you or your talent does not move around a lot, and neither wants to be harnessed by a lavalier, this is a very good microphone

I bought one of these earlier this year and loved it, it's a good microphone with clear vocals

It comes with a shock mount to absorb vibration and minimize interference and a pop filter to minimize clipping and prevent saliva from corroding the microphone

We spent a lot of money on presentation software and graphic editors, but never realized how much a really good microphone would bring to the table

My preferred inexpensive microphone for voice/podcasting has been the Audio-Technica ATR-2100

The microphone is well protected with plenty of foam inside the case, should you be traveling with it.

This may or may not be a great-sounding microphone, but these basic flaws in understanding the podcasting world make this product less than ideal

I ended up sinking a couple hundred dollars into cables, a microphone boom stand, and the phantom power supply (which I'll review separately).This microphone is sweet with such clarity and amazing sensitivity

It's not obviously better than those low-end $25 microphone

Marantz mpm-2000 is a very very good microphone for vocals, acoustic guitar & other studio works

The sound quality was excellent (I especially liked the vocals) although I can’t say it exceeded my other mics
