I found that the charcoal is VERY dusty and clogs up the filter

Good quality charcoal.

Every 3 or so days I find myself having to either replace the charcoal or clean out the filter.

We find all kinds of uses for activated charcoal, and this seemed like a very good charcoal.

I would shop around for more inexpensive charcoals as this brand may just be the same product in better packaging.

Charcoal works fine, please note: do not buy this charcoal if you plan to use it in refillable mesh bags for aquarium filters.. the fine grade charcoal leaked through the mesh and escaped into the aquarium water

If you can think of something that uses replaceable charcoal as a filtering agent then this is for you

For the most part, this is a good, premium Charcoal.
