  • but if your looking for a loud durable speaker, it is worth the cash.
  • The feel and retro look of the switches and knobs and accessories is really nice--the quality shines through in all the detail and fit and finish
  • The look of this amp is a work of art, while the build quality is second to none
  • I love the Woburn for what it is: a cool-looking one-box music solution intended to fill large rooms with very loud full-bodied music without sounding strained.

Reviews around unit (5.00 of 5)

  • Anyway, these factors pose a non-starter for a bedroom system, since the unit is too powerful for placing next to the bed.
  • Very heavy (go to website and see specs) this is NOT a portable unit.
  • The Stanmore is a well-built unit that sounds great and doesn’t distort or bottom-out at higher bass levels and volumes; perfect for an office, bedroom, kitchen, etc

Reviews around marshall (4.16 of 5)

  • As a guitarist, I already respected Marshall and now I have another reason to appreciate them even more.
  • It has no protection circuitry like classic Marshall MB or MG series amplifiers that were virtually indestructible
  • Hey MARSHALL, do yourself a big favor and put this beautiful speaker in a BROWN casing, this is the best looking color you have (in my opinion) !
  • After expending 600 dollars on this expensive Marshall speaker it simply stopped working today, I used for one week

Reviews around bass (3.93 of 5)

  • The two sets of speakers in the Woburn are mere inches apart, preventing any semblance of stereo imaging, and the tonal balance - characterized by slightly exaggerated bass and rolled off higher frequencies - would disappoint an ardent audiophile seeking to use this as a main system.
  • The Woburn is not that much larger or more obtrusive than the Stanmore, and I believe the difference in cost is well worth the improved tone, bass and volume
  • Rock styling and volume boasts not withstanding, typical rock mixes just sound like they're coming from a boxy monaural speaker, not even the equal of the best jam boxes of old (JVC), except for the bass and distortion-free volume.
  • I would have preferred faster, more articulate bass over quantity, but this seems typical for larger, more powerful speaker setups of this nature.
  • The rear of the console has 2-baffles to provide sound venting and extra bass push

Reviews around bluetooth (3.53 of 5)

  • The Bluetooth works great, but in my situation I don't push the range very much so can't really speak to BT capability
  • Full sound, excellent clarity, looks amazing, bluetooth works fantastically
  • I’d buy it and if you find such dropouts to be a problem for you, then buy one of the many inexpensive external bluetooth adapters and connect it via the 1/8” analog jack on top or to either the RCA’s or Digital input on back of unit
  • Bluetooth goes about 70 feet away before it starts breaking up on connection
  • If you are tired of wimpy little Bluetooth speakers for your mobile devices or laptops or whatever, then you should take a look at the Marshall Woburn Bluetooth Speaker System

Reviews around woburn (3.32 of 5)

  • But, the Woburn sounds good by any standard, if not fantastic.
  • As expected, the Woburn gets much louder and provides significantly more bass; a better choice for larger rooms or outdoor use
  • , the Woburn sounded like a vail had been lifted from over the music
  • Be careful though, although it gets LOUD, it will distort and woofers will bottom out (unlike the Stanmore) if pushed hard (but only at very high volume levels with high bass level). The Stanmore, although great sounding for its size, sounds a bit sterile in comparison to the larger, more expensive Woburn
  • When there's space in the mix, the Woburn sounds incredible: B. B. King and Nirvana never sounded this good to me before, period.

Reviews around quality (3.30 of 5)

  • Moving very slightly to the left or right of it, the sound quality falls off a bit.
  • Excellent sound quality but the price on Amazon is very expensive
  • Let me tell you something: play music through the RCA input....the quality of the sound is just unbelievable.
  • Excellent sound quality but the price on Amazon is very expensive
  • It appeared to be everything I hoped for and was also pretty heavy which means that it probably has good quality speakers with big heavy magnets inside

Reviews around thing (3.22 of 5)

  • However, even playing classical music at a very, very low volume can be problematic, because those recordings are very dynamic and the Woburn is quite prepared to ramp up the wattage very suddently and dramatically--a great thing, unless you're trying to fall asleep.
  • Its the best thing I have purchased in recent memory and the sound quality was superb
  • This thing is loud and even at louder levels the sound is clear
  • This thing may seem expensive, but it's worth the price for this awesome sound....
