The two sets of speakers in the Woburn are mere inches apart, preventing any semblance of stereo imaging, and the tonal balance - characterized by slightly exaggerated bass and rolled off higher frequencies - would disappoint an ardent audiophile seeking to use this as a main system.

Rock styling and volume boasts not withstanding, typical rock mixes just sound like they're coming from a boxy monaural speaker, not even the equal of the best jam boxes of old (JVC), except for the bass and distortion-free volume.

I’d buy it and if you find such dropouts to be a problem for you, then buy one of the many inexpensive external bluetooth adapters and connect it via the 1/8” analog jack on top or to either the RCA’s or Digital input on back of unit

However, even playing classical music at a very, very low volume can be problematic, because those recordings are very dynamic and the Woburn is quite prepared to ramp up the wattage very suddently and dramatically--a great thing, unless you're trying to fall asleep.
