These are mellow, easy playing and have a low tension on the guitar.

The strings make a bad guitar easier to fret and make a nice bright tone, which I love

I have a nice but inexpensive Epiphone guitar that has pretty high action.
They produce a warm sound so if your guitar is already rather warm you may not like them.
I just put these on my Taylor Dreadnaught 110 and it's incredible how warm and rich my guitar sounds
