I recently tried a set of Elixer Nonoweb Phosphor Bronze ($16!!!!....yikes), and they didn't sound nearly as good as the Martin SPs....at less than half the price
I'll probably continue buying these, great value compared to other strings on the market, and if they last a decent amount of time I'll be very pleased with this purchase.
The E string broke the very first turn of the peg!
For the combination of the great value price, excellent tone, and long lasting durability these strings are my current go to for my acoustic.
Last a good while too, and for the money they are a great value!
They mellow from that "harsh" new tone to a crisp/warm tone very quickly, and hold true for quite a long time - long enough that I don't feel the need to go to a heavily coated string like the Lifespan line or Elixirs.
the strings have a nice tone and have held up well under heavy daily use so far
These strings sound lively and have a nice midrange tone on my ovation
Sounded nice, decent tone, but last no where as long as Elixirs, and miss out on the low end of the bass for the guitar I strung then on.
In both guitars, the Martin strings provide a deeper, louder tone with great sustain than any other string I've used
So if they do snap while you're stringing, it's not necessarily the product's fault.
I really wanted to D's to win, but the sound of these Martin's just blew me away
Martin always makes a great product and have never had any problems.
Being a rather hard flatpicker (a habit I have a hard time breaking) over the course of 40 years, I used to break G and D strings 1-2 times during a 4 hour gig
can't beat the price, not my personal favorite string, but couldn't pass up such a great deal.

I always look for a good deal on strings, and I was happy to find these

I am not really sure what else to say about guitar strings other than I feel like I got a good deal on some good strings.
I love these strings, they are my choice for my acoustics, and my jazzbox when I'm not using flat-wound strings
After a very long period of trying every string out there it was an easy choice.
They may not stay bright sounding as long as some more expensive sets, but if you don't mind changing strings a little more often they are a good choice
If you need replacement strings then these are a great choice.

martin guitar strings for my acoustic guitars are the best in my opinion

It's fun to experiment, but these strings were so disappointing that I'm glad a string broke, to entice me to rid the guitar of them sooner!
t works great
I'm still in the process of getting the string broken in like I like them, so it has definitely caused finger pains for the first few days
Ultimately, the high E broke, (other reviewers have mentioned strings breaking too).
