We've used these to affix things to the sides of bookshelves / bedside tables (phone mount so that we don't knock the thing off the bedside table when we get up to shut off the alarm), ceiling fan remote... we've affixed things to auto dashboard (another option for phone gps, discreet and easy to apply)
