I added some glue myself to make sure with heat the mount doesn't fall off and it works great, very sturdy and easy to change and move it in different directions

The mount is basically unusable now.- the phone holder does not hold the phone securely as it's completely misbalanced and unable to hold a phone (Samsung S9+ in my case) up in place and dangles down.

This one specifically was left mounted on a hot day and when I came back it had fallen off and the cup itself was melted

This mount had easy to follow instructions and has a suction mount for windshield or use the suction mount to attached to the included pad that has adhesive to attached to a flat surface.

So with the mechanism to form the suction, coupled with the tacky surface, you get a really sturdy mount that won't keep losing it's suction and needing to be remounted
