I bought this router to replace my 3 year old Medialink Easy Setup Wireless Router which had began lose range.

Easy setup (took less then 5 minutes) and a good price for a great wireless router, I highly recommend you get this router!!

Setup was crazy easy; Router GUI is pretty nice with decent features.

Long story short, I had 2 extra static routes setup which worked fine in the old router, but the new router did not re-route the traffic correctly

It's a shame because the other reviews tell a much different story and made me excited to try this, but with the poor dismissive customer service and the 2.4G not working at all I'm going to return and try a different brand instead.

The set up was very easy and the wireless speeds from our FIOS are phenomenal

Each time I tried to reset it, the "Easy Set Up" became a nightmare.

Tech support refused to help unless I installed that which is amazing frustrating.

I spent nearly an hour with tech support and they couldn't solve the issue

I've written tech support at Mediabridge asking if they will be working on this problem

They sent a second one, but even with their tech support, we couldn't get that one working either

When I hooked up the router the 5G worked excellent (70mbs download speed), but the 2.4G was horrendous (2mbs download speed!!)

So far so good - good coverage of our moderately-sized house (~2400 square feet).

I used it as a repeater to get better coverage in one area of our house

The 5G transmitter works great but that only works for certain devices like phones and tablets, not my laptop

All my devices were able to detect a strong signal from it.

My nephew was thinking of going to a mesh network to solve a poor signal problem in his condo

The cool thing is the signal is so strong not only can I sit at the

The new router was easy to set up and puts out a strong Wifi signal

The router was easy to setup right out of the box with the provided instructions, wireless speed is great.

Speed is slightly slower on my back patio, about 60 feet away

What I got in my mailbox was this Medialink router which blew away the speed of my previous router.

I replaced the router I was renting from Charter and the speed is much better and no more rent

Great range and MUCH improved speed and stability vs the Linksys router it replaced.

I was replacing an existing router in order to upgrade to a 1Gbps WAN port and 5GHz wireless (a TP-Link product which did implement static routes correctly)

My main complaint is that it does not set static routes correctly

I decided to live with this issue since I could get around it by manually adding the static routes I need to individual computers on my network (which works for my particular layout).There's also not an easy way to mount this router on a wall (something I would have liked, but can live without).Now to the "good"

I also verified I had the latest firmware loaded (latest firmware was already on the router when I received it; which I verified on the product support/download website).Looking through previous reviews (as of now, March 2018) there are no questions/answers or reviews mentioning static routes, so I assume that not many people do not need this feature (i.e. you can probably ignore this gripe if you don't know what a static route is or know you don't need this router to provide this feature)

Also I seem to now have connection issues with my printer something I never experienced before

Solved all of our WiFi connection issues and has a look that fits the rest of our setup well

Both the 2.4 and 5 GHz networks are fast and never give me connection issues
