This router works great - super easy setup - speeds are good
Plus I love their none invasive setup no bloat/crap ware installing itself just simple simple setup and highly customizable for those who trust their techno lust.
GREAT ROUTER AND WIFI REPEATER , EASY SETUP AND VERY STRONG SIGNAL
This router works great - super easy setup - speeds are good
and I was surprised at how small the actual router is, but it was an easy setup and runs great.
I bought this router based on the good reviews and decent price
The price was great for all the features and it looks good too.
Great flexibility and good price is what attracted me to this router
I thought this was good, but then when I tried a different one that had great reviews at a cheap price when I noticed some differences (wifi drop rates, speed of connectivity, etc.) and found that this really was a terrible purchase
The price was great for a router that can act as a wifi extender
Great product, but better customer service, professional follow up with emails from Medialink
I read that Medialink has great customer service, but in the year+ that I've had
So far no problem with this product, and I had outstanding customer service
Stay away from this company, the have horrible customer service
It has allowed me to play my most demanding online games with no hint of lag (other than that which comes with having a crappy monopoly cable internet service), and on the few occasions it has bugged out, I was able to get everything working by unplugging and replugging it in.
I would have gone with a even faster and more modern A/C router, but all of my WIFI devices only support wireless N, and thus wouldn't be compatible with the newest tech.
The signal strength of the Medialink is detected as being weaker than the signal of other networks in range (I live in an apartment complex)
I lived in an apartment complex where there were at least 20 different wifi signals at any given time and the Medialink
I live in 17 story apartment complex in downtown Cleveland
Would highly recommend as it was easy as screwing in a ljghtbulb and works like a dream.
I would have gone with a even faster and more modern A/C router, but all of my WIFI devices only support wireless N, and thus wouldn't be compatible with the newest tech.
This was by far the easiest and fastest set-up I have ever seen
This device randomly loses internet connection and it lost internet connection EVERY time I opened my computer to do some internet browsing/work
My internet connection (In a modest one-bedroom apt) went from frustrating but fast with the Apple router, to REALLY frustrating and unbelievably slow with the Medialink
I would have gone with a even faster and more modern A/C router, but all of my WIFI devices only support wireless N, and thus wouldn't be compatible with the newest tech.
Unfortunately for me, this router gave me connection issues.
Update: still have some connection issues even though I'm not using the medialink router.
I would have gone with a even faster and more modern A/C router, but all of my WIFI devices only support wireless N, and thus wouldn't be compatible with the newest tech.

She was able to connect her cell to it quickly and easily and didn't have any connection issues with it while she was there
I needed to replace my router due to connection problems over the last few months until it finally quit
I have not had any connection problems with my PC, although when I use my net book with Wifi its a little slow connecting to the same router
This router easily resolved speed and connection problems at the other end of the house, economically.

Stumped, I called Mediabridge to troubleshoot device, and the person I spoke with said it was a known issue that was recently brought to their attention, and that they should have a new firmware by Friday
Secondly, tech support person knew of my issue immediately and said it was a known issue.
Media Link, if your listening, this is a known issue with the DNS settings, so I encourage you to fix this problem in your next router
I would have gone with a even faster and more modern A/C router, but all of my WIFI devices only support wireless N, and thus wouldn't be compatible with the newest tech.
(Medialink). They sent me a "welcome" e-mail the day I got the product delivered, and actually offered to help!

Here's the router they are ripping off:microcenter.com/product/381840/W368R_Wireless-N_Broadband_RouterThis company will never see another dollar from me, especially because they are threatening to sue people who leave negative reviews.
Tech support has great hours, tech people you can understand, but no 800 number to call.
As everyone else reading reviews of this product states, the overwhelming great reviews for it may scare people away
We had two laptops, two xboxes, two ipads, three smartphones, a smart TV and a Wii U at one time, and there was no problems
Have lost trust with the Medialink since,1) it was a known bug, potential buyers should have been notified immediately once bug was
I would advise anyone with Apple products or ATV to AVOID THIS ROUTER and others to be wary of a company which puts out a product with known bugs and does not notify potential buyers of known bugs nor keeps people who bought the product informed of the bugs status
I would have gone with a even faster and more modern A/C router, but all of my WIFI devices only support wireless N, and thus wouldn't be compatible with the newest tech.
Replaced with a Linksys (Cisco-Linksys WRT54GL Wireless-G Broadband Router) and no problems for the last year and half.

Too bad Medialink's great customer service doesn't match its faulty quality control.
Also, you have to disable the pop-up control in your browser in order to install the unit.
The instructions are not Apple OSX friendly and the CD WAS WORTHLESS (on my Apple).
Set up was quick and easy; I didn't even have to use the CD they provided to set it up, in case setting it up normally fails
