The sound from the mic was good, and I also came up with an adapter that allowed it to work with my laptop, as opposed to only in a speaker.

I could see this mic working pretty well on a little desk stand which is within about half a foot from your mouth with the volume raised up high

I appreciate the detachable cable, very useful to store or even transport it, however, it would be better if the fit were better, there is 2mm gap between the cable and the connection, nonetheless it has a lock mechanism so that helps, and feels somehow more secure to an unexpected detach

So I then boosted the volume inside of Premiere Pro by about 12 db and my voice was much easier to hear

I don't really recommend using this handheld especially if you don't have great mic technique/a lot of experience

Whereas the mic works with the other cable and the supplied cable works with other mics

so I would say if you need an inexpensive mic for amateur use, this will work fine.

In conclusion I think this mic would be really useful for certain people and not really usable for others
