I suspected as much as it was not a scrubbing brush I was using

got the job done on 95,000 mile bmw r1200rt aluminum clear coat wheels, took the blackened filth off with this and a soft brillo pad.

I would not use this product - I used it on my sock Infiniti G35 rims and it actually took off the clear coat on the rims...just keep it in mind.

I tried these on my Lexus OEM silver wheels with clear coat....worst idea ever!

I bought this product to clean the neglected aluminum clear coated wheels on my girlfriends 2003 Honda Accord and worked well to get the years of brake dust cleaned off

Ridiculous price for a product that works this well

Luckily the price isn't ridiculous so it is still very much worth it.

Some things you just buy if you need one and the price seems right to you, this is one of those things.

Will go to lesser priced cleaner that will probably work just as fine.

Use a Tire Shine product AFTER you use this to get your tires to shine

It also cleans your tires a lot better than I expected.

Before, the tire was so dirty that you couldn't see the white wall stripe

I had been using Black Magic All Wheel Cleaner and there was always brake dust still on the wheel after agitating with a brush

I always end up breaking out the chenille wash sponge and rim brush to get the built up gunk off of the wheel

I use a wheel cleaning brush and it cuts through the brake dust with little effort.

This stuff is amazing , spray on wait 5 minutes and rinse , will leave your rims clean,,, but if wheels are super nasty , filthy use a soft brush

I scrubbed them with a stiff tire brush using simple green cleaner

and then I use a soft wheel brush to remove the excess brake dust and rinse well

This stuff just works very damn well, get a tire or rim brush and it will clean up tired and rims with ease

Who ever thought of putting a premium brand like Meguiars in the cheapest spray bottle they could find needs to be fired.

The wheel cleaner bottle was cracked and ultimately broke

Unfortunately my bottle broke in transit, but Amazon customer service got me a replacement bottle right away.

, what i mean is that i noticed its safe on the rims.the only disadvantage is that the bottle was enough for one time clean only, so for proper clean i think you needs 2 bottles, if you want to clean properly including the wells behind the spokes.

For one thing, it took nearly half a bottle to cover 4 wheels and tires,but worse yet it left a filmy residue on both
