(They were usually on for only a few minutes at a time, but I turned them on for a full evening one night to see how well the charge held up.)Only criticism is that the plastic cover for the connection where the lead wire from the charger panel connects to the actual light string is flimsy/loose on both strings.

Well worth the money - hold a charge from dusk to dawn.

2 sets do not hold a good charge and some nights those 2 sets do not come on at all

Both were led rope lights.

The are just plastic tubing with the copper wire fairy light pulled through so they are not the typical super bright rope lights you see in the stores because the spacing of the lights is farther apart

I bought this for night time craft and market shows while it really doesn't put off much light the rotating settings flashes etc do add some drama that's eyecatching at a reasonable price and a full day in the sun charge lasts about 10hrs

This is a perfect fit at a reasonable price.

Put the two that worked on small trees: The length of one of these light strings was enough to encircle the trunk and about half way up a small tree.

They solar panel easily kept the batteries charged enough to keep the lights on for 6 hours or more on the steady, constant light setting

These lights are fine for a 'romantic' setting but they don't put out the light amount I was looking for

My husband told me if I added any more lights to our Xmas display he'd have to upgrade our electrical so these solar lights were a cost effective option for making next year's backyard wonderland a reality

iam going to take it apart and see if if i can possibly put in a better battery!

The lights are on the inside deck rails and the solar panel box is on top of the rail directed at the sun between 2 post.

Placed the charger out in the sun and was able to run the lights under the top of the deck railing.
