Although, I really feel like this cymbal will compliment almost any cymbal setup because of it's nice splashy trashy accent but still has the very quick attack/almost immediate decay that you can expect from a splash cymbal
In fact, I've seen this cymbal used more as a stack than on it's own as a splash, still, it makes for a very good splash cymbal.

If you are looking for a pure sounding splash check out the HHX splash or the A custom or a series splashes.

I use it as a part of a stack cymbal (upside down 16'' vintage trash crash with this cymbal stacked on top upside down as well), and it's the most amazing stack I have heard or tried.
