The case also has two tops, a padded one that fits over the top and buckles in place and a mesh fabric one with a draw string to fit tightly to the top of your Cajon.
A very well made case .I use it to transport my drum set hardware ( flat base drum stands )
All in all, it works as you would expect, and is reasonably priced
Even taking it out of my car and gently setting it on the ground made the cajon rattle as if there were no padding at all
