  • This is an extraordinarily accessible and terribly fun instrument that I intend to use very actively
  • I would recommend this instrument to any percussionist/drummer looking to add a hand-drum to his/her arsenal
  • It is a good general instrument to have that can be used in almost any song
  • If you are in the market for one of these this is a great instrument to get plus it wont break the bank.
  • It adds so much to my set, having a great sounding percussion instrument adding sonically, and I can tell that Matt loves playing it, too!

  • I bought this as gift for my husband who is a percussionist and he loves it!
  • I did find a great site where a talented percussionist is creating his own unique styles of cajons
  • It is very easy for a skilled percussionist to play, and probably not too difficult for a novice.

Reviews around slap top (5.00 of 5)

  • I'm a bit concerned about the top of this 'slap-top' since after one day there was a small dent in it.

Reviews around snare (4.26 of 5)

  • The snare wires on the one side add just enough snare buzz when you want it, it's very subtle, and there is no buzz-bleed when you are hitting the middle or other side of the cajon
  • At the moment the snare isn't as sensitive as I would like so finger rolls are more difficult
  • Snare has the smack that I want.
  • He's also impressed that the snare is so clear and doesn't bleed over to the other tones.
  • good, multiple snare sounds, along with the tom sounds it's like mini drum kit.
