I've wanted to learn to play the Violin for half a decade now, and this seemed like a good starter
Instrument is perfect, if you first get it and you find that innattempt to tuning it that the pegs don't turn they just go back, you have to push the pegs into the holes as hard as you can
You get what you pay for and a s cheap starter violin should be from around $350-500 dollars at least.
, It’s a little cheap looking and the pegs don’t stay (loses the tuning quickly), but for someone who’s new to this, it’s not a bad starter
Until then... this violin is perfect for her and a great starter violin for the cost
What a great violin and what a price, I'm really happy with my
I know the cheap price is tempting especially with all the accessories (which by the way, only came with one e string, not the multiple replacements as strings
This is a beautiful violin and quite amazing beginner violin for a cheap price
It's great, considering the price, it's cheap in price but really good in quality, the only thing I had troubles was tunning it,
While probably considered worth it for the cheap price, the 'promise of examination' that came with this product is ill received.
I'm convinced that most of the people who have had a very difficult time with this instrument are either 1) are used to playing much more expensive instruments and bound by elite tastes, or 2) are too inexperienced with stringed instruments to setup the violin correctly.
All in all great quality from an inexpensive instrument
Being a violinist for 20 years and a string instrument technician, these ceclio or mendini instruments are awful
For the price it is a very good quality instrument and the case is nice
As a music teacher, I highly discourage purchasing this instrument
you should have no problem getting your money back buy putting it up for sale
so i feel like i didnt waste my money fully anyway good luck to all of you
So unless your looking for a decoration or a planter I wouldn't waste money on this, go rent something where you can rent to own a much better instrument.
Unless you know how to tune the instrument yourself, do not waste your money.
so i feel like i didnt waste my money fully anyway good luck to all of you
my rosin was busted into a bunch of pieces and my bow already had some broken hairs on it
I would recommend getting better strings and a better rosin.
But get a better rosin for it other then that it a great violin.
Bought it a bit used, when I got it the rosin was in pieces and the G string was broken
The Rosin is okay given the price of the violin, but I would suggest that you get a better quality rosin because it will make the sound better and you won't have to work so hard with the bow
The strings were so loose, I practically could have braided the strings
It is common for strings to break on instruments but this time I was barely tightening the string and it broke
The rosin that came with it worked great, should rest is good quality and the original strings have worked well the bow is good quality all for the price
The bow was crooked, and strings are loose, cannot stay in place
It has good sound for the price, but I would suggest immediately investing in better strings.
my violin is soo nice and beautiful, arrived as expected and very well packaged, Im so happy practicing it every day, thank you
You might get something playable but you might get something that ruins a
while day one was frustrating due to tuning problems, every day since I feel as if I had it for far longer for some reason)
On the first violin, it took a couple days until the glue failed and the neck separated, and the second violin came separated from the back of the violin.
The case it comes in is very nice and the violin works as it should
When I tried to tune it, the bridge, which is held in place by the strings, fell off and had to be put back, which was no big deal.
The bridge is not cut well, which makes the instrument almost impossible to stay in tune and the string heights are not correct.
The bridge and the strings are bad and I need to buy another
Unlike videos critiquing the violin’s flaws, the instrument I received had a decent bridge with the appropriate shape, the sound post was in the correct location, fingerboard, peg box, tuning pegs, and end button were all in working order with no issues
The bridge had fallen and something seemed off with the strings
Strings slip (rosin works a bit, but tuning it, finding the note and then tapping it with the end of a hairbrush sets it
It was a little brighter and little bit of a hollower sound than the Mendini, basically, not as good, but playable and gave a different sound
Good instrument, as with any "cheaper" priced instrument the tuning is a bit hard to keep in tune but that's not a problem if you just tune up before each playing session.
I had to work the tuning pegs a bit and restring to get the violin to keep its tuning, but now it plays as well as a beginner violin might
It's a bit challenging and tricky to tune if you're a new player
I could have replaced them with good pegs for nearly as much as this violin cost.
The violin teacher informed me that it will not hold a tune because the pegs fit to loose and will not hold the strings tight which allows the bridge to move while you play.
but then the pegs got loose all the time and the violin wouldn't stay tuned well
The pegs are worthless and wouldn't stay taut, which means the violin couldn't tune.
The pegs are so smooth that it's impossible to keep it in tune.
It's a sturdy Nylon soft case, with a semi solid interior...possibly a very stiff cardboard or plastic (?
fine tuners also work well 2) produce a noise 3) learn how to bow, and how to play the open strings as well as where to place my first second and third fingers on the strings
the boards falloff cant tell you enough how wrong this is not worth the price i would get a more professional model cuz this is cheap plastic not wood the case is the only good part about it thats why i gave it 2 stars buy it for the
Thank U a
The body seemed to be made of a hardened plastic (not cheap feeling)
I Ordered on January 19, 2016, the hair of the bow slipped out today (February 23,2016), only works 34 days
fine tuners also work well 2) produce a noise 3) learn how to bow, and how to play the open strings as well as where to place my first second and third fingers on the strings
When i got the violin the bow was broken the hair was touching the stick
The hairs were falling out and the bow itself would curve when the hairs were tightened.
Many hairs on the bow were broken and it appeared sloppy.
And unfortunately I missed my window for return, so I'm stuck with a pretty violin that can't be played.
I missed my window to return and cannot even get my money back.
This violin is well-made however it was incredibly hard to keep tuned, we messed around with old bit too long and miss the 90 day window to return it
She is so upset we missed the return window due to the fact it was a present so delivered in November and not played till
