When my son needed a violin I started to look on Craigslist only to find obscure, used, not-good-quality items for more than $100 (I know CL prices are crazy), but this is cheaper than that, it's new, and it comes with all the accessories

I was a violin performance major and around violins my whole life, and I think people need to realize when purchasing an instrument this small that the quality will never be very good, because the strings just are not big enough to reach the tones necessary for the lower strings
