This diversity in these levels, dynamic, ever-changing gameplay, and incredible (heavy/emotional) story that closes a lot of loops make this a memorable and fresh experience in gaming and franchise history

I was able to play Hideo Kojima's Peace Walker and even though the story was difficult to fall (aren't they all like that..?

The only gripe I have with this collection is the omission of "Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops" which in my opinion is an important canonical story in the series; however the reasoning behind this was because Hideo Kojima did not direct the game himself and only served as an executive producer

Chances are, if you find yourself here, you are probably a Metal Gear fan, and don't need to be told anything about the superb story

But in all honesty I loved the story and it's gameplay mechanics

People who aren't into games have sat down and enjoyed the stories with me

I thought before starting playing that it was going to be a cliché PS1 game with slow gameplay, generic story and weird voice acting

MGS2 improves on the gameplay aspect, but the story definitely jumps the shark towards the end

The Metal Gear Solid games have intriguing original stories and the gameplay gets more and more exhilarating and rewarding on the higher difficulties

Which I really liked the story of the game but Peace Walker is the only reason I gave this 4 stars instead of 5

I can think of that can deliver great stories, innovative gameplay, expert voice acting and relevant as well as post-modern writing all in one package

Metal Gear has a pretty dense story, even as far back as the first game.
