I have an ATU that I can put at the base of the antenna and run a 12v power lead out to it and this work very well with the antenna and it tuned up right across the bands
The antenna works great with a tuner, but the construction of the antenna leaves a lot to be desire

Works just fine, little disappointed that the tuner in the radio wouldn't tune all bands but have an external tuner that works on all bands, was able to eliminate two inverted V antennas, neater looking around the tower.
