It is made very well and constructed of good materials, the kit was a great value , and so far Iam very happy with it.

I am perfectly comfortable mounting an expensive mic on here, but if you've got a cheaper blue mic that will be fine too.

Shock mount - cheap plastic mount but gets the job done.

Good Shock mount, the springs are on the light side I would say but hold up good
