If you intend to use this like a laptop computer make sure you get the keyboard for the extra battery life and a really good cover with screen protector

My item arrived and did not work..the dreaded BATTERY PLUGGED in but not charging problem that seems to be common with the Surface products.
*USUALLY* go through additional testing to make sure everything is working, items are usually repacked well (and have protective film for shipping), and in the past, I've been thrilled with certified refurbs.

The largest issue is twice the device went blue screen and said it had to be restarted
Great device got it for school but don't get it from here

I hated the surface 3, because like apple it seems to be one of those premium devices that people talk about like fashion rather than the quality of the product of its own merit.
Overall the surface was good, the problems for me were the battery life and the fact is was not very fast

After 2 weeks of use in a college environment I have found the Surface 3 to be quite capable
