And the tablet is also problematic

I love this hybrid laptop-tablet.

Sits on your lap easily unlike the Surface and has the best of both worlds with the detachable tablet

This is both an outstanding laptop and an outstanding tablet

It does take its time to recognize wired LAN connections, but I've yet to determine if it's the tablet or the dongle having issues

Indeed, the detachable tablet definitely gives the Surface the edge

And wov, once you do detach it, you find a hidden wonder - a gorgeous huge standalone tablet, with its own front and back camera, superb display, light weight but not flimsy, and man once you take a look at newspapers or magazines in vertical mode, it feels so much more enjoyable and readable

I now have a very expensive, thick and heavy tablet, rendering the SB useless for what I bought it for

The screen as a tablet is very smooth and although it seems a little large, as a 15" tablet, you soon get used to this as it truely is a pleasure to use

Don’t get me wrong, I love the detachable tablet concept, but the performance is nothing to brag about, its plagued by power issues, and Microsoft’s warranty is super inconvenient

By far WORST laptop/computer/tablet or whatever they call it I’ve ever used..... customer service is pretty much useless

Detaching the screen and using it like a tablet is seamless and works wonderfully

I couldn't turn it back on once the computer failed to recognize its own keyboard, would not detach the tablet, and failed to charge

I didn't think I would use the tablet mode often because the reviewers slammed it as unwieldy but sharing markups with others by detaching the tablet and working over things together has changed my workflow

I purchased this product for around $2200.00, honestly there are far better deals at this price unless you really want a good tablet and a good laptop in one machine

I will try to evaluate the Microsoft Surface Book 2 from the perspective of someone who has other devices already, as well as from the perspective of someone who wants one unit to do it all

I took my time to write this review, so that I spend enough time to use it thoroughly, as well as get feedback from my wife and my elementary school daughter
