Midland WR120B/WR120EZ NOAA Weather Alert All Hazard Public Alert Certified Radio with SAME, Trilingual Display and Alarm Clock - Box Packaging

    • Because of the loud siren I probably won't keep it.
    • I found the siren settings easy enough to change without reading the instructions, and I was able to see my settings in action almost immediately since storms rolled though the area on the day I received this weather radio.
    • This has an obnoxious siren loudness you can't control.
    • You do not need the siren to go off once a week to satisfy the workability requirements of the unit
    • The severe thunderstorm watch put out for my county did not give the radio opportunity to scare the bejesus out of me with a siren because all it did was light up an LED.The unit even lets you disable the siren for the weekly tests (Wednesdays at noon) which does not impact the function of the radio in any way whatsoever.
    • Tip: disable the weekly test siren alert if you keep it in your bedroom, because this thing is so loud it can wake the dead.
    • Though, one thing I don't like about this model is that the siren is SO loud
    • Easy to set to weather station, and has REALLY LOUD warning sirens for updates.
    • The big benefit of the B/EZ model is that you can disable the siren on certain types of alarms.
    • Siren is very loud
    • This is where the weather radio shines and protects my family and I during dangerous times.
