Midland WR120B/WR120EZ NOAA Weather Alert All Hazard Public Alert Certified Radio with SAME, Trilingual Display and Alarm Clock - Box Packaging

    • A great radio that is fully customizable for alerts (you can even turn off the annoying weekly test alerts) and provides a clear radio signal even inside of an office building.
    • it DOES send out a test tone which will scare you silly at first
    • I would recommend testing the big "Weather" button every week to confirm it's working.
    • The weekly test is a bit annoying, especially when it goes off twice in one day
    • The alarm is loud and will wake me up, I also like how I can disable weekly tests from waking me up, but allowing storms and floods to wake me up
    • It still does not sound the tone alarm when the system is tested each Wednesday.
    • Only drawback is the weekly test alarm that scares the heck out of you if you are not prepared.
    • The alarm is loud and will wake me up, I also like how I can disable weekly tests from waking me up, but allowing storms and floods to wake me up
    • Configurable -- you can choose the Alerts you want, and ignore the weekly tests. .
    • This radio emits a tone every so often when it doesn't detect a signal or misses the weekly test, despite being able to get the signal and the display saying it did the weekly test
    • Despite all troubleshooting and positive test results, it never issued an audible warning.
    • The test (I have never heard the actual) alarm is obnoxious.
