The pie plates have the deep dish part on one plate and a cover crust type plate on the top- making for a cute mini pie if you top it with pie crust dough before pressing (you can also just use the bottom crust for an open faced tart)

I am a bit of a kitchen gadget junkie, and really wanted this particularly for the cute little pie shapes as well as for the traditional Japanese Taiyaki fish shape

I got one because my daughter loved the pies

I still gave this (4) stars because the little pies, donuts and fish pastries are pretty good.
