It works well for me while walking or for easy to moderate cycling, but as soon as I try to get my heart rate up for an interval, hill workout or sprint, the monitor freezes and will not follow my heart rate until it slows down again
Just wow ,band works great running, walking, workouts ,biking and in the sunlight never fail

Also, the watch vibrates and the screen lights up to show current heart rate when you move into our out of your highest heart rate zone, which is a great feature to stay in the target zone
The labeling and functionality of it is not very intuitive at all and one of the most important features seems to be some kind of magical, only if you're lucky, activation
However, this key feature finally started working today after many updates and re-installations of the apps.

Sure it lacks GPS, garmin is best for that, but its water proof, it has a heart rate monitor, it holds a good charge, its comfortable.
but I certainly sweated a lot into this device and the water proofing is great which makes this a device you can wear all day if need be, something you can't do with the Fitbit or Jawbone.
My son uses a Garmin vivofit which is a great device, water proof, great display, great battery, but the app is bland and there is no HR monitor.

My son uses a Garmin vivofit which is a great device, water proof, great display, great battery, but the app is bland and there is no HR monitor.
Active watch, great display, constant display, water proof, you can add apps to it, great everyday device, but a bit boxy, no HR monitor, and a very bland APP.
I love the watch, it is comfortable and has a great display, but hate the buggy app
The strap is comfortable and the display is very easy to read
I am a pretty active person and over the last year I and my family have used a number of fitness trackers.
I found the charging device to be easy to use and also found the Mio Fuse to hold its charge quite well.
As far as tracking steps, distance, calories expended, providing the time, and showing the percentage reached of your goal number of steps, the Mio Fuse is great
, I like a constant display like on my garmin vivofit, so to be a bit picky, I would like the Mio Fuse better if it showed the time all the time, but its simply enough to display.
It can be used for that, but as I mentioned earlier the Mio Fuse is overkill if you just want to track steps -- get a FitBit or a $19 knockoff for that
I can't compare this to the Fitbit Charge, which also has heart rate monitoring and is about the same price, but this Mio Fuse is awesome.
I love the watch, it is comfortable and has a great display, but hate the buggy app
Fantastic app, small and very comfortable to wear, but no
The APP is pretty easy to use and syncs pretty quickly.
Once downloaded, the app was pretty intuitive and easy to use, You use the app's features to link to the Mio and then follow some simple instructions to set it up.
The band is uncomfortable, and it feels like the app was a second thought.
As a fitness tracker, I'd still recommend a Fitbit over the Mio Fuse even though I've had numerous Fitbit devices fail (I'm on my 5th Charge HR) but bottom line is I don't recommend buying the Mio Fuse for the fitness tracking capabilities

I am a pretty active person and over the last year I and my family have used a number of fitness trackers.
The Fitbit is a lot sleeker, sexier and looks better on your wrist.
My wife uses a fitbit sure, great read out, great ap, lots of people using it also to compete, has HR monitor, but is not water resistant and does not hold a good charge.
The interface isn't completely intuitive, but it's not bad either -- after 1-2 workouts with the device both my wife and I were able to operate it without a second thought
The interface is confusing
the interface was pretty easy once you get used to the swipe and where the little ridges are to reach by touch.

Comfort, a convenient interface and the ability to track your vitals is what you look for in a wearable fitness tracker and the Fuse does everything right.
