I have been enjoying loose leaf tea for ages, and I've always used my stove top kettle (microwaved water is just wrong)

After just a couple weeks’ use, the lid is very difficult to open

You want an easy opening wide lid to make filling and cleaning the kettle easy

The only small issue I am having with is is the lid that does not open with first push of the button.

The lid has a button on top to open the unit and it only works sporadically

Now and probably the worst issue, the kettle makes loud popping and snapping sounds.

so because of my pet peeve-ish issue, i actually hover around the kettle waiting to pick it up before the beep temp is reached

Its lightweight and the lid works well (I've had issues with the latching mechanisms not working properly on other kettles).

I can't return it, because the issue starts to float after the return window ... so beware.
