It will either need a dedicated spot on the counter next to an outlet (precious real estate!), or have to be moved every time.- It seemed a bit slow to reach a boil, not much improvement from boiling stovetop, unlike other electric kettles my family owns, though this wouldn't have been a deal-breaker if the other issues weren't present

Wish it held a bit more water than it does but not a big issue with how quickly and easily it boils.

The base is a bit cheap feeling, with a pretty flimsy plastic dial knob, but that has no impact on how the kettle functions
