I haven't had any problems with the app and have found the sleep monitor helpful

The Misfit shine 2 is a nice activity tracker that tries to add more style to the device than many of the competitors

It is lovely (and different from the other clunky activity trackers)

When I was clear that the problem persisted, customer service became unresponsive

I loved the rose gold color and got lots of comments on it, but I kept having trouble with them working, batteries wearing out in a matter of days...went with a Fitbit.

I like the color of the face, very girly and I get a lot of compliments on it

However, almost every other feature, it pretty much fails

I'm notorious for missing calls prior to owning this, but the vibrating feature when you get a call has helped me tremendously

This secure band does not allow the Misfit to come loose and fits very well on my wrist

As a Misfit Shine fan I had been wearing their devices for almost two

When I finished my workout, I noticed the watch was missing, so had to go fish it out from the bottom of the pool

It's no 'smart watch' but it does exactly what it's supposed to, keep track of your daily activity and sleep pattern

I bought this watch for my birthday in April of this year(2016) and loved it

I always receive many compliments when I wear my Shine 2 because of its sleek design and it almost resonates like a mini watch

I contacted Misfit customer service with a plea to improve their band design before I bought a new shine

A much better band design than the initial Shine 2 launch in fall of 2015

They have updated the app, and I love the product even more, warranting me to change this from 4 stars to 5

I love this product and have actually bought three of them

While I continue to like very many aspects of the Shine 2, I still would not recommend this product to others

Overall, very poor customer service (since none exists) and very poor product!!

I would NOT recommend this product to anyone, it is pretty and has fun accessories like the pretty pendant [extra], but it SUCKS as a fitness tracker.

So far, the new tracker has always bumped my hand as it falls out, so I have not lost it

I have owned the misfit Shine and the Ray and now the Shine 2This tracker is the easiest to use

So, now I have a useless shiny object instead of a tracker.

If one purchases this product, the price should include a band that works and is secure, or the tracker is worthless

With the more secure band, it hasn’t popped out once since I got it.

They replaced my misfit and this band seems way more secure

But seriously, this thing is too expensive to have such a weak band.

The Shine 2 is also a pretty good device but is it $70 better

I have come to terms that I will have the device for awhile but will eventually lose it.

The anxiety this provokes is substantial as it is not a cheap device.

This device was aggravating and the end result was I have simply abandoned it.

The only downside is the new device doesn't fit the old accessories

DRThe Shine 2 is a very sleek and stylish fitness tracker with great battery life and water resistance but the damn thing just won’t stay in the band

so I replaced it - tried 3 different new batteries and none of them worked!+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++Late December

I chose it for the simplicity, style, battery life and the water resistance

They’ve also sent me multiple free batteries for my Shine

So some of the reviews made me nervous - I loved my shine I, but always had the hardest time keeping track of the darned thing!

The only issue I've run into so far (its very minor, and Misfit is in the process of addressing this in a future software release) had to do with integrating the Misfit Link app with the services options (IFTTT, YO, etc) -- while this works great when linked, I found that it tended to interfere with the sync process in the activity app.

You have MIsfit app for basic configuration and you have Misfit Link app for more "advanced" commands

It doesn't scream "I'm wearing a fitness tracker" and still functions well as a watch, which is
