    Misfit Shine - Activity and Sleep Monitor

    • Customer support is awesome
    • I am extremely happy with not only the product, but the customer support is prompt and courteous.
    • The Misfit team customer support is amazing and have always been helpful
    • I hoped it was a simple fix or something I was doing wrong, but if it took their customer support three days to -not- offer a solution and ask me to provide all the information over again, I'm done bugging with it.
    • Customer support was slow to respond, granted it was around the holidays, so I'll let that slide but then seemed to misplace my request to send me a new magnet clip
    • While there have been some issues with the device and the app their customer support is quick to respond and replaced the device immediately

    • What I didn't realize was that it didn't track you swim even though I followed the directions from customer support (when they finally responded) on how to switch to swim tracking mode
    • I contacted customer support, and just got a form response back with instructions on how to sync it
    • Customer support did respond quickly, but only confirmed that my Shine was defective
    • However, customer support has been great and was willing to replace my Flash or send me a Shine for half price
    • However, I have had to replace it through Misfit customer support twice within a span of 6 months.

    • I replaced the battery, reinstalled all the apps, turned my Bluetooth on/off, turned my phone on/off, and tried everything their customer support suggested, but no luck

    • Customer support was quick to reply and offer ways to help me locate the missing device, but as soon as it was determined the device was gone and not emitting a signal for detection anymore they stopped responding to me

    • I've always found the customer support at Misfit to be top-notch
    • Unfortunately, the app would randomly disconnect from my tracker, and I'd have to contact customer support to reset my tracker and sync back up to the app
    • I like this device and I am very happy with the customer support

    • When this was explained to the Misfit team, my boyfriend received an upsetting message from customer support, essentially telling my boyfriend to go buy a new battery for the product (even though the original battery was included as part of the product).I contacted Misfit and asked for a number to call customer support because I hoped that this could better be resolved over the phone as opposed to an exchange of emails (with hours going in between each email)

    • In the end, I was tired of having to replace the unit and go through customer support every 4 months.

    • I, like so many others, lost my Misfit Shine because of the cheap-o plastic band that comes with it
    • Since the Shine is magnetized the loose O-ring coupled with a strong magnet makes for a great combination.
