SO the chair is great.the back rest offers great lumbar support
disappointing as it may be it is still a good chair and worth the money!
The lumbar support is so bad I would set it on fire, but since that's illegal, I'm going to set this thing outside my house for the first person who comes by with a sign that reads "Do what you will"
I would look no further if you are looking for a chair with great lumbar support.
The mesh back keeps me cool and the lumbar support is great.
Comfortable and good looking but man does this chair squeak.
I do not recommend this chair if you're looking for quality or anything that will stay looking decent for more than a year or so
Aside from that (which is not meant as a negative as much as an FIY), the chair is very well constructed, good looking, and very comfortable
The Focus chair is very good looking, very comfortable, has excellent back support and the arms work perfectly in allowing me to scoot up to the desk with no problem.
It is a nice looking chair and I am pleased with the chair itself!
While this is a great looking chair, the poor design and very poor build quality really need to be considered before you purchase this particular product.
It looks like the design is needed to support all the functions of the chair.
Absolutely love the design of being able to put the arms
It's no longer comfortable in spite of it's attractive economical design.
The chair is an attractive design and looks to be a really heavy duty piece of office furniture
I like the mesh back because it does keep my back cool and is comfortable
The mesh back was cool and comfortable, just no real lumbar support.
The edges around the mesh back is made of compressed foam which can not support the stress exerted from the screws which hold the mesh back to the frame and eventually will break off
Its mesh backing gives a nice breeze so you can avoid some swamp butt and sweaty back
The cushion is thick and the mesh back looks good and appears to be sturdy
I want to believe that it is a good product, but is it?
In the end it's a good/very good product... much better that cheapo chairs I've seen in Wlamart, Target, etc... also, shipping is free which is great on a 42lb product
I hope this was just a defective product -- or assembly
perfect now my back does not hurt as much great product
For something that appears to have been made in China this is a well built product
The seat is comfortable and the overall quality of the chair is fantastic
It's just poor quality.- Third, the cloth backing has started to pull out, along with the staples that hold it in place
There was no damage to the packaging around the damaged harm and it is my opinion that the arm was damaged when it was packaged, indicating poor quality control
Altogether, the quality of this chair is stunning for only $149.99
Comfortable, good quality, affordable price, and stylish chair
Back rest is actually extremely uncomfortable the shape of it makes me \have to seat at an awkward almost 45 degree angle to have my back flat against the seat its like the whole seat needs to be able to come forward more
As highly regarded as they are, there is no getting past ergonomics: It did not fit us the way we needed it to fit, but they are built like an old Mercedes Benz, so they last and hold their value
It would be a better fit if the seat cushion was pitched forward just a bit, that would help with the bad neck angle
I am uploading a picture so everyone can see the horrible angle of the back rest
Before, in all the other chairs I have owned, I had to sit at an awkward angle and it sucked
I had an awful time putting the chair together, the chair back was simply warped and it took a looong time and a lot of swearing and cursing and general unhappiness to put the chair together as a result
Don't waste your time on this, for a few bucks more I am sure you can find something much much better
Given the extra time it will take to seek out the assembly screws from hardware store, I strongly suggest seeking a similar chair elsewhere if your time is valuable to you.
Hence, every time you try to adjust the backrest, the seat slants downwards, making it very uncomfortable to sit while you are sliding down
I have a hard time knowing which reviews are over exaggerated or just plain wrong
As highly regarded as they are, there is no getting past ergonomics: It did not fit us the way we needed it to fit, but they are built like an old Mercedes Benz, so they last and hold their value
disappointing as it may be it is still a good chair and worth the money!
Base ring to hold up the chair is made of plastic and it broke and the spindle punched through, allowing the chair to sink to the floor and scrape the floor
As other users have mentioned, within a few weeks time the cushioning on the arms will become permanently indented where your arms lie so that when you continue to use it, you feel the hard base of the arm without any cushioning whatsoever
Then just over a year after they were purchased, the base of one of the chairs (the silver part) cracked and that chair is unusable.
As highly regarded as they are, there is no getting past ergonomics: It did not fit us the way we needed it to fit, but they are built like an old Mercedes Benz, so they last and hold their value
My only problem with it is the plastic around the mesh back snapped completely in half.
The back rest did not align with metal back/hard plastic back plate
The plastic around one of the adjustment levers is cracked and only three of the four screws attaching the back could be used
The fact that I can snap the rigid back support in two just by leaning back indicates to me that the chair is built with really cheap plastic
The padding in the tips of the arm pads came in a little squished from excessive compression during packaging, but I decided to keep the item,vs struggle to repack it into the flimsy box.
Nice suprise until I realized after he broke the boxes down and had the chair put together in my office that it was black
I adjusted the mounting bolts as much as possible to accommodate since I already broke down the box and they don't exactly unpack nicely
Box was destroyed and the insides looked as if a t-Rex threw everything inside when he was in a hurry

The person I bought it for is very picky about office chairs and really liked it until the hydraulics broke
You may need a second person for assembly to hold some things in place... and the logo on the back of the chair falls off immediately, that's no big deal.
Very comfortable, I'm only 5'6" and there are plenty of ways to adjust, don't see why a taller person would have trouble
