Flerb on the EH is worthless, IMO, and Shimmer is a great idea here, but a plate would be more welcome, in my case (even if it's not exactly how a plate was used)
I definitely wanna keep an eye on this company and see where they go with this great idea.
A great idea, it adds some additional pitches to the wet signal, much like a Strymon Blue Sky, and when is at full decay will last almost infinitely

For my purposes this pedal with is CLEAN room and spring reverbs, (profoundly clear room reverb - better than my amps and even my zoom multistomp g50, but the coolest thing for me is the Shimmer verb

I LOVE the shimmer setting, the room is a good basic reverb, but the spring just sounds wet and "janky"
I do like the shimmer effect for adding interesting modulations on top of my sound, and the room and spring settings are fine, but anything above 12 o'clock, at least with my setup, sounds processed and unnatural
Personally, I use Room all the time, Shimmer infrequently, and Spring: never

I like the tonal quality out of the Room setting on the ShimVerb better than my BOSS FRV-1, but I like the reverb effect of the FRV-1 better.
Small form factor, low power needs, decent effects all rate highly in my book

, it has a very good reverb sound with multiple types, takes a little of adjustment, but it's a good quality pedal.
Contrary to what others might say, I find that "Room" has a classic warm reverb sound.
7:00 is off, 9:00 gives you a very fast decay, Noon is a decent amount, 2:00 is a classic sounding 'verb amount, and 5:00 punches up so much after effects that it will drone on for (what seems like) minutes after you strum
None of the three switch positions gives a decent reverb and the shimmer sounds terrible.
HOWEVER, playing barre chords is sounds mildly creepy and pretty sweet

More about Mooer ShimVerb, digital reverb micro pedal
The Mooer ShimVerb is a great addition to any pedalboard
It offers three reverb modes: Room, Spring and Shimmer
The Room reverb provides different sized, true acoustics reverb from room to hall
The Spring reverb simulates a classic spring reverb from the '60s surf rock era
The Shimmer reverb is a rich overtone reverb that's smooth, spacey and shining that's great for Alt rock, post-rock and anything with a more modern sound
Its full metal casing makes it durable and road ready, and like most great effects pedals it has true bypass.
