Its a great substitute for vegetarians

Mother Earth Products are reluctant to put the ingredients on the ads in AmazonI was looking for gluten free Vegan meat substitute.

Another good thing about it is it sits on the shelf

I love things with a little "Jet" (haha, "Afterburner").

The bacon bits I use is Augason Farms, Walmart has a large selection of Augason Farms products in #10 cans at a reasonable price

Made for some very good breakfast burritos when paired with powdered eggs and tortillas.

Mixed with scrambled powedered eggs, they make awesome breakfast tacos.

I soak them for 13-15min in hot water then drain them in a colander pressing out the excess water

A bit on the salty side when you eat it dry, but if you soak it in hot water, it's not so bad.

I like these becasue they give me the taste of sausage without all the extra fat and calories

I like to use these sausage crumbles in omelets and wraps when I'm making just one or two and don't want to dirty a pan frying up links.

1/2 C milkIn a bowl put the Sausage crumbles, bacon bits and chives add the water necessary to hydrate, (let it hydrate for 10 to 15 min)

Good sausage taste.

strong sausage flavor that I like, good in eggs, ideally would soak a bit longer than I do but it works with a short soak
