This is a good inexpensive kit to try if you are unfamiliar with the clay bar system
Very good clay bar kit with detail solution and microfiber cloth

You should always clay bar once in a while, this is a great kit, try it out.

Mothers Clay Bars are a great way to keep your car/truck/boat/lawnmower/whatever cleaner and to smooth out some smaller scratches in the paint
Make no mistake claying your car will not get out scratches; dents or fix paint chips.

While doing this, just make sure the car is completely clean, you do not want to get your bar dirty to put any scratches in the paint, remember, this is to fill in fine scratches and does a superb job at it
As others noted, this did cause some very faints scratches which were easily removed with wax.
It does take some time to work a spot if you also do the detailing steps by clean it off with the dry towel.
Used this for part of the restoration work on my EClass panoramic roof side panels.. they were faded from the sun and caked up with hard water spots... this clay bar kit really worked
It's a nice bright yellow color so you can spot the dirt in it to know when to fold the bar for a fresh clean spot
However, I was under the impression that it also cleaned up sap spots, etc., and that did not happen
I used this on my 2006 Jeep Commander because I could feel slight rough spots on the paint
The spray left a residue and I couldn't work fast enough wipe it down after I used it
The Clay Bar system cleaned up all the invisible rough residue on the hood which felt rough even under the coat of wax I had previously applied and when I buffed out the Showtime spray residue and then reapplied a coat of wax to the hood the results were nothing short of spectacular
Prior to using the clay bar there was a lot of gritty residue on the surface of the paint
I can only imagine the previous damage I did by not taking off the residue this bar removed.
I hand washed it multiple times and there was a dirty residue that seemed to have fused into the paint
