Former Moto Z Play user here, and so far I like my last phone more

Lack of Moto mods compatible cases is a bummer; the rim is metal and thus slippery

The camera is not like my Note 8's, but the Moto Z3 Play is so much easier to use

Yes, the Essential phone has mods, LG tried too, but they are nowhere near as good as Moto Mods

I love these Moto Z phones and use the mods all the time

I tried to order this phone with the free Alexa mod that they are currently offering if you buy the phone

I like the phone, however I am dissappointed that the Alexa moto mod was not available for free when I placed the order

Motorola has been doing a great job releasing mods, which really really incredibly increase the value of your phone

Finally Moto mods make the phone feal fun and interesting

I then tried re-ordering the phone without the free Alexa mod and it was delivered same-day

I love the long battery life of the Moto Z3Play and the ability to add the additional battery mod to make it even longer.

My biggest daily pain with phones has been the battery running out 2/3rds throughout the day, this phone *finally* solves that issue for me and lasts all day (with the included battery mod on it) and the battery mod makes the phone slightly more comfortable to hold onto.- Everything else on the phone largely just works as you'd expect

Is crazy shaking amd super low quality!-The new fingerprint location is the worst!-The face unlock work 50% of the time

I'm guessing this lowers the amperage drain of both batteries and helps them last longer, the menu said this method was more efficient so I chose itPictures seem to be great quality and the phone itself is very well built

Overall speaking, the phone is fluent and the amazon apps are not a concern for pure android experience.

The battery mod has replaced my USB power brick and the Alexa smart

According to Motorola, the charging cable only supports USB 2.0

Motorola tech support have sent me an additional USB C audio cable but the problem remains.

Strangely, although the Z3 Play supposedly supports USB 3.1 with the higher data transfer rates, it doesn't come with a USB 3.1 cable

Thin, lightweight, great battery length, free Moto Mods Battery & Moto Mods Alexa/Stereo speaker makes for a terrific package at a great price.

I'm not sure about the Amazon apps that are installed, but it was a good price

Also, if you are an idiot who falls asleep while playing on your phone, like I am, the screen cracks easily when dropped (due to that no case thing and my refusal to not leave my Moto mod battery on 24/7)

In case of emergency with a mod on, it will actually fit on it backwards to protect the screen, but you obviously have to take it off to use the phone.

Screen is very bright and is responsive to whatever I want it to do

Overall, the phone's performance is snappy, the battery life is outstanding, and the OLED screen is great

With a good screen protector and careful use, this has proven to be the phone of my dreams

After my third cracked screen I decided it was time to get off the jump plan and find the best phone for battery life that was still fast, had a great display and good camera
