This is a great router, Internet at home is much faster now

From my experience today if you have Cox Cable with Premier Internet service they will NOT accept and activate this model - MG7540

to Xfinity/Comcast to rent a modem for some time, and we regularly had to unplug the Xfinity unit to reset it when the internet randomly stopped working (sometimes multiple times per day) - so barring any technical issues with the Motorola

I was cheap and got the cheaper version but internet was slow AF

The xfinity router we had was throttling our internet to about 30Mb download and about 5Mb upload, even though we were paying for ~150Mb

After a decade of owning two hardware boxes to enjoy high-speed internet at home, I purchased this nice little product from Motorola that combines Box #1 (the cable modem) and Box #2 (the WiFi router for wireless home networking).Configuration is always something I loathe, especially when XFinity has a hand in the process... but XFinity deserves kudos and credit for (finally) working in partnership with residential networking hardware brands like Motorola

It stopped working on Mon./no internet, didn't work Tues./no internet, turned TV
