MOTOROLA MG7540 16x4 Cable Modem plus AC1600 Dual Band Wi-Fi Gigabit Router, 686 Mbps Maximum DOCSIS 3.0 - Approved by Comcast Xfinity, Cox, Charter Spectrum, More

    • It's a reliable with good range connection that should cover your household nicely, even in big places!
    • I have incredible range and reception,
    • it worked fine for the first few weeks, then I started having issues with internet connectivity, 5G is great but very short range, would only go to the room next to where I have the router connected, the other band is pretty much worthless, I first thought it was XFinity, but when swithcing back to old router there were no issues
    • Set up was fast and the range is great
    • It's slow, with very poor range and requires frequent restarting in order to function
    • I did need to set the 5Ghz band to a bandwidth of 40 as is defaulted to 80 and did not have enough range.
    • The wifi range with this unit is comparable, if not worse, than our old cable company modem/router.
    • I could use more range, but I can't complain the signal strength of 5G and 2.4G. 5G signal would penetrate two walls and gave me excellent wifi speeds
    • Great WiFi signal range and many great features to set on the dashboard for security and other adjustments.
    • Reception pattern appears omnidirectional when placed this way with good range
    • Better range and speeds than the Comcast unit.
    • The range is great and it hasn't dropped out at all
    • However, its range is horrendous.
    • Excellent coverage range
    • It works but the range is very limited
    • Range is great as well
    • The 5G wifi is very fast and has a decent range as well (I live in an apartment, can't say how good it is for a house)
    • Poor range, drops signal all the time, Hulu isn't working, I have had a professional IT friend change settings to try and help, still crap
    • it has a pretty good range for 5g.
    • Another awesome Motorola product works really well great range on the Wi-Fi
    • Problems started with sporadic "ranging" issues that would not allow the modem to connect to the internet
    • Also the range for the wifi isn't good either
    • The range was also TERRIBLE
    • Excellent Wi-Fi signal range and speed.
    • Pros: good range, compatible with Xfinity, able to set it up with their help, easy to change passwords and name of device once installed
    • terrible range
    • Not the best range...
    • Range is also good
    • It gives a strong g signal in a 1500 square foot 50's mill house
    • Wireless a,g,n &ac capable
    • 1GB ethernet ports5G wireless powerful and
    • 2 and 5 G easy to use easy to hook up
    • If you have devices which don't support 5G or the AC wireless standard then this is not for you at all
