works great, good distance on all 3 units, being used for festivals, camping and while driving in seperate cars with the family

Residential has worked well within a half mile, but has too much static at greater distances to be useful

Unfortunately this walkie talkie struggles to work for any distance greater than 1 to 2 city blocks despite the marketing.

Since that is rarely true, then you probably should cut the distance in half for it working properly

Good size - small enough, but big enough to fit in your hand comfortably like a radio should.

What I like most about these Motorola radios is their compact size compared to many on the market

These Motorola T260 Talkabout Radios work very well for the purpose we needed them, to be able to communicate around our property

No carrying cases or storage case is included, through the radios are pretty durable and the shipping box works well for storage

The T200TP worked well with our older (yellow) Motorola units.

Careful to remember someone will probably hear any cursing you do while working in the yard though

Probably the best option of all would be to start with a pair of Cobras, and then add Talkabouts (which can communicate with the Cobras) as needed

Product is used for family communication (children, parents) during shopping at mall, during trip in woods, etc ...Very reliable product, but poor battery life.

Overall not a bad product but, for the price you would think they would come with a better set of NIMH batteries.

Motorola thinks I will purchase more expensive products from them when they don’t even honor the warranty for their cheaper model.

The iVOX feature on this radio is useless

The best feature about these is that they come with a rechargeable battery but also can be used with 3 AA batteries!

These are decent radios with good basic features, but the rechargeable batteries are garbage

The screen is nice and big to read, and it has the interference-reducing features of the Kenwood.

Another great feature is that you can communicate with any other FRS/GMRS radios using the same frequencies and channels, regardless of brand

When used, the radio will ignore all transmissions not using that code, which has the effect of giving you a "clear" channel for all intents and purposes

In the city, transmissions were entirely static after about a quarter of a mile

If you do not have a GMRS license for those channels and fail to use your FCC callsign, you are breaking the law

It has 22 channels to use and also a noise/interference reduction
