The perfect walkie talkie, quality accessories, I have no problem with the radios, I buy them for my business
I plan to use them for car rides where we have to take 2 cars to fit everyone, as well as when my kids go to their grandmothers in town so they can still talk to us without having to use the phone
We really enjoy these walkie-talkies for our family casual outings and adventures.
I've learned the hard way about buying cheaper walkie talkies
Anyhow, they’re great, we highly recommend them, and all hail K’zzâng-mēd Dhüur!
I definitely think we'll get a lot of years out of these! The next model down (T200) down loses hands free options and has a little less range (still 1 mile neighborhood, 5 miles water, 20 miles mountain to valey)
Two packs certainly serve their purpose, but the three pack is a welcome option
Probably the best option of all would be to start with a pair of Cobras, and then add Talkabouts (which can communicate with the Cobras) as needed

If you and your family want to stay in touch while doing any kind of activity, the Talkabout is a better option
This is a nice little set of radios, improved from my last three-pack of similarly priced Motorolas, but has some room for improvement
The two sets of radios I have don't match each other, meaning that my intent to use both a as a way to communicate with my kids while they both have a radio would not work
This is a good solid set of walkie talkies at a fair price
This set of walkie-talkies are easy to operate and fun to use.
three instead of two makes them a a particularly good set
Product is used for family communication (children, parents) during shopping at mall, during trip in woods, etc ...Very reliable product, but poor battery life.
Overall not a bad product but, for the price you would think they would come with a better set of NIMH batteries.
Motorola thinks I will purchase more expensive products from them when they don’t even honor the warranty for their cheaper model.
great product for the money got them for g. kid he like them
The sound is a bit annoying when setting up, scared the cat and made the dog assault the cat

When used, the radio will ignore all transmissions not using that code, which has the effect of giving you a "clear" channel for all intents and purposes
In the city, transmissions were entirely static after about a quarter of a mile
When the other radio was being used in the car directly behind me on a flat road, transmissions were too poor to communicate without breaking up

Great for multi-vehicle riding in poor cell coverage areas.

the area you will be in doesn't have issues that limit range, these units will work great for most people.

Other countries have stricter laws and I have heard about some tourists getting into trouble using radios like this.
If you do not have a GMRS license for those channels and fail to use your FCC callsign, you are breaking the law
Many (perhaps most) users violate Federal law and use them without license, but who knows what enforcement will be like in the future

But the claim on the box and in the advertisement of 20 miles is just not believable but in my car to car testing, 20 miles translated to 100 to max, 200 yards
This one seems particularly durable - it's also claimed to be able take some drops and I believe it
I also have a pair of T600 h2o's and battery life on those are great, except they are not waterproof as the company claims, unless your consider hanging them out to dry before using them again as waterproof.

Another pet peeve I have is the slightly misleading claim of having 22 channels
Those issues aside, the radio pretty much falls into the "average" category when it comes to FRS radios
The problems are the battery was a hard fit on two of them and the biggest issue is the charging jack breaks really quickly and you will have to use a rubber band to get it to charge at the right angle
We were going to distribute these to family members but that issue has made it annoying to do so

Cell phones are great, but they're not that sturdy under tough conditions, and sometimes you just don't want to burn up minutes with things you can use a walkie-talkie for for free.
The battery packs only last about 15 minutes before they die
