Sound quality not good and performance reception was nor as described

Once my husband got within a mile the reception was clear and we could hear each as if we were standing next to each other.

Reception is bad.

The reception is fine but the batteries drain out very quickly!

Batteries that were supplied with the radios would not keep a charge for 6 hours, switched to AA I purchased, these were better, but could never get clear reception, always had static on any channel we tried.

So far I've used in the mountain hiking with family and have not lost reception (over 2-3miles in mountain open terrain)
