The magnetic holders were a favorite of mine for a while, but it requires the metal plate, which conflicted with my QI charging, and Google Pay/Samsung Pay abilities.

The holder itself is pretty close to perfect: very easy to put the phone into the holder and take it out, the holder is VERY secure, and the movable legs at the bottom allow you to easily access the ports at the bottom of the phone

The only thing that can make it a better holder is the release button should be on the right side so the (longer) index finger can get to it easier.

I have an iPhone 7 Plus and when it's in the holder it doesn't fall out, but the holder can't support the weight of the phone and it wobbles and pivots all over the place

When I upgraded to the new Note 8, my vent clip holder didn't really work well

This second one seems sturdier but even when I tighten the screw to secure the holder in the CD slot, it still feel like it might eventually fall off as I adjust the angle of my phone

No suction cup or vent holder fails, this is one to beat.

It was a good cellphone holder when I first got it.

It was not assembled and when my husband was able to get it put together, it would continually fall off the CD slot holder whenever holding the phone
