No ground noise (crackle and hum) in my headphones while recording music on a lap top

It's taken out that annoying hum

When I recently switched to a grounded AC adapter for the laptop, a rather loud hum or buzz was introduced

When I use my Mackie ProFX12v2 for my podcast, I always hear a faint staticy hum in the background
