The hotplate is not sealed there for any coffee that drips onto the hot plate seeps into the entire base of the unit and leaks all over the counter

This is a nice, basic programmable coffee maker that does it's job for a great price

It makes great coffee quickly and the price was certainly right.

Too expensive for the quality, you can buy a better one with cheaper price from market

I purchased it on cyber Monday and got it for a cheap price.

It is also safe as it will cut itself off after 2 hours of being left on so if you leave the house and forget to cut it off not to worry as will it cut itself off for you

Not much else to say other than it’s a good value and makes great coffee.

But it works fine and is a good value for the low price.

This new purchase is terrible because the elements inside aren't so powerful, brewing a weak cup of coffee

It makes a good cup of coffee and keeps it at a good temperature.

This coffee pot makes a sloppy cup of coffee because the grounds are always in my coffee cup

When trying to "sneak a cup" the coffee maker just keeps running as if nothing happened, coffee just pouring onto the hot plate like its nobody's business

What I found the most obnoxious though, is that when we first bought it and looked at the description it said "the no drip feature lets you 'sneak a cup' before brewing is finished"

Perfect simple coffee maker without any complicated issues.

This is a simple, no nonsense, straightforward coffee maker.

It is a good coffee maker with the delay and auto shut off.

The machine lasts a long time with proper use and cleaning

This machine started smoking after using it about a month

After 18 months of one-pot-a-day on workdays only, the machine now refuses to heat up.

But overall decent machine for the price or if you prefer not-too-hot coffee.

I put the water in to clean the machine, and ore water leaked out if the machine than cycled through.

Has a fresh pot of coffee waiting for me every morning.

I just needed the pot because ours broke and I ended up just using the pot from this one with our old coffee pot

It is a struggle to make a pot of coffee every time - not worth the aggravation!

Although not an expensive coffee pot it puts out a good cup of coffee.

I have had Mr Coffee since their first coffee brewer came out, this is the worst pot Ihave ever owned

She awakes with coffee every morning, being able to set the timer is her favorite feature.

plus, it shuts itself off after 2 hours to prevent scorching the pot, a nice feature.

The interrupting feature strips while I try get an early cup of coffee

Love the timer feature, coffee was ready by the time I rolled out of bed!

I love the feature to set it ahead of time, and have fresh coffee smell to wake me up.

But everyone's different and maybe some products were faulty.

I would not recommend this product because it is clearly cheaply made and breaks easily.

Very Poor quality cheap plastic material....the coffee wasn’t very hot as I liked

After opening the box there was a very strong smell like machinery oil

I washed by hand then ran it through the dishwasher, still has terrible smell

Maybe it's just this particular coffee pot, but it had such a strong chemical smell, even after washing with soap and water, and rinsing, and then brewing a pot of full-strength vinegar, and many more rinses and letting it air dry.

My old machine has a completely removable basket without anything swinging out on 2 cheap, little, plastic nubs

The coffee basket is difficult to remove once is remed is hard to put it back on, it has two small hooks on the basket that will break soon.

Like everything about this maker but Filter basket is a pain to remove and clean!

The coffee comes out great and if you like a little more coffee grounds than the next person, there isn't any issue with overflow so far

The basket for the filter doesn't lift out, so you have to wrench it out to clean out the grounds.

The coffee is fine, but its a real bother getting the basket off and on to dump the grounds!

I like the simplicity, but there is no basket to easily remove to dump the filter and grounds

I give Amazon 5 Stars for the easy return and Mr. Coffee -1 Star for even thinking this was a good design.

The design for inserting and removing the basket that holds the filter and coffee is very difficult.

Also, when I spoke of the poor design of the filter basket I should have pointed out that my wife has resorted to removing just the dirty, used coffee filter on its own because of the difficulty she has removing the basket.

Have to line up tiny holes.. had to be a better design.. very flawed

The lid on the water chamber (back) broke off, first use

Now it easy to clean, but I get pot filled with coffee grind.

No easy removable coffee ground basket

Only issue I have is the way you have to remove the coffee grinds.

I’ve had the fancy coffee grinding/brewing models: they don’t last

Also the slide open compartment for coffee grinds is a pain

I saw a few reviews that said that the filter basket cannot be removed, which worried me a bit, but I found that the filter basket can easily be removed by lifting it straight up a bit until the bottom pin is free and then pulling down and out to free the top pin

In fact, after only a few cycles it was already loose and sagging a bit.

The basket is held in place by 2 plastic pins, and it's a bit difficult to get off & put back in to place, other than that, LOVE it.

To bad....we buy quite a bit of stuff off of amazon but this experience was disappointing.

I am not a fussy person, but this is a very poorly made item.

It may be easy for a young person but my hands and fingers are not as agile as they use to be

i am a disabled person needed a new coffee machine bought this one and it leaks ad to throw away cannot box it backup to return due to

Especially when your a person who does this with every pot I am expecting it to break or crack as it fits into the side where it hinges on a “nipple and hole” (see video) style where you need to fit it in and hope you’re not using too much angle or pressure to break the the top and or bottom nipples

So most of the negative reviews focus on the fact that it's hard to remove the disposable filters.

Don’t listen to the negative reviews.
