    Mr. Coffee 12-Cup Programmable Coffee Maker, Black

    • the filter basket swings out on 2 little cheap, plastic nubs that you just KNOW will snap off before very long at all, with all the swinging, removing to dump grounds, etc
    • The swing out brew basket makes it very difficult to remove the used coffee filters and clean out grounds
    • had a filter basked that slid out, making it simple to dump the grounds.
    • I like the simplicity, but there is no basket to easily remove to dump the filter and grounds
    • Sometimes the machine's drip mechanism clogs with loose coffee grounds which causes coffee to overflow from the filter cup without dripping into the carafe as it should
    • The only thing I do not like about this coffee pot so far is I cant get the basket off to dump old coffee grounds and it takes a little bit to get a full pot of coffee brewed
    • Doing this each time you dump coffee grounds

    • In the past you simply swung out the assembly, lifted out the basket, dumped the used coffee grounds and dropped the basket basket back in.
    • Easier to use with a reusable filter than paper filters, grounds get in easy with paper.
    • It swings out to fill, but there is no removable basket to easily dump use grounds.
    • Otherwise you have to fight to get the swing basket out to clean out the grounds each time.
    • The filter holder always falls off from the pegs that are suppose to hold it in place which makes frustrating to empty the grounds and then fight with the pegs!
    • You can't take out the hot grounds
    • Go dump the grounds and reinstall
    • The basket for the filter doesn't lift out, so you have to wrench it out to clean out the grounds.
