I'm glad they offered this at a good price because I broke the carafe on my last Mr. Coffee machine.

This maker has a feature that lets you remove the carafe while it is brewing to pour a quick cup of joe (while I don't recommend doing that, it is an option if you must).

As a suggestion for cleaning the glass carafe, I use a wet small piece of Mr. Cleaner Sponge to remove the coffee stain that will build up in time., avoiding having to use vinegar

This newer Mr. Coffee 4 cup model looks nice and does work fine but its carafe is inferior to the old DR5-4 model's
