The GTX 1080 Gaming X is effectively silent on idle, and has a nice deep drone under load

GAMING X and ARMOR have very similar noise, and the STRIX is actually very noisy, as well as my previous GIGABYTE GTX 670 WINDFORCE, also with three fans.

I highly recommend the card for a powerful gaming pc, with the capability of demolishing competition.

I have only had card hit 71C during intense gaming but the fans stay below 75%

All in all, the MSI 1080 Gaming X is ready for any game that you can throw at it

Went from the R9 390X Gaming X to the GTX 1080 Gaming X, a huge improvement indeed!A FurMark score of 4200 to 7200, and even topped a ASUS ROG Strix by 25pts at a lower boost clock speed, by atleast 200MHz

Also, If you're interested in a silent PC, the Gaming X comes highly recommended, because of the fantastic implementation of the Twin Frozr VI cooler

Same PCB as the far more expensive Gaming X, meaning excellent VRM and power

1080 Gaming X is a winner with stock

I strongly recommend everyone for who wants excellent gaming performance.

The NZXT Kraken G12 paired with a Corsair H75 allow me to push this card as hard as I please, and I've yet to see a temp higher than 60 celcius
