Volumes greater than 1 liter took longer to boil and sometimes did not actually reach a true rolling boil

It took maybe 2 minutes to boil a liter of water and was ready to pour immediately with no worries of getting burned by wires or hot plates.

We used the glass type you put on your stove top, but they have two problems, first on our stove it takes nearly 20 minutes to boil a liter of water, and the handles always come loose
